Laval has set up ÉvoluCité, a municipal initiative aimed at organizing and developing the territory according to an approach based on sustainable urban planning. The first milestone in this process that will gradually be carried out over a number of years is the City’s adoption of its Sustainable Urban Planning Policy. It is followed up with specification sheets that present examples of detailed planning and development concepts for Laval’s key sectors and which will contribute toward developing a sustainable city—ÉvoluCité.Laval boasts a strategic location, a successful economy and a dynamic, daring business community.
